August 9- "When life hands you lemons. . . " A while ago I found an ending to this quote that I really liked. Unfortunately I forget what it was. So if you have some 'endings' please let me know. :) Keep it clean though. :) I am pretty sure there are some 'unsavory' endings to this quote and would rather not hear those. :)

August 11- I finally finished this book. It's over 1000 pages so it was split into two different books. This is a picture of the last one. The story was very well written though a little long. I must confess I did some skim reading.

August 14, a three cent stamp I found in the book I am reading. I don't know how old it is. The inscription in the front of the book says it (the book) was given to _____ in 1940. So I'm guessing it was sometime in the 40's or 50's. I love old things so finding the this stamp made me quite happy. :)

I've always heard "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade." I think I heard something else too but it's not coming to me. It's good advice.
Wow. you read that book. and that wasn't the whole thing? It looks really big, and scary. :-/ I don't like scary books. We have the movie for Les Miserables, but I haven't watched it. My family watched it one day when I wasn't home and said it is good, and so I never have had extra time to watch it...it's 3 hours long.
So anyway. You're being really faithful about your picture taking, and I haven't enjoyed taking pictures in a very long time. Life is CRAZY. I want a hug, and a talk, and a visit, and a cup of tea, and some quiet..with you, my friend. {sigh} I miss you!
When life gives you lemons, take them. Because hey. Free lemons. :)
