to be alive is to be loved
i smile
i laugh
i giggle
to be alive is to be loved
i dance
i twirl
i spin
to be alive is to be loved
my delight
my joy
my beauty
to be alive is to be loved
my forgiveness
my pain
my heartache
to be alive is to be loved
my past
my future
my present
to be alive is to be loved
my hope
my security
my worth
to be alive is to be loved
i giggle
i dance
i live
to be alive is to be loved

ok, so I was talking to my friend Tony tonight and he said this great thing, "to be alive is to be loved". I wanted to write that on my heart so that it is never forgotten. And usually if things get written on my heart they must be written about.
This is really very simple. Anyone could have wrote this little piece. But the statement "to be alive is to be loved" is so simplistic and so powerful. I didn't want that to get lost in a lot of big words and such. I wanted it to stand up and shout. :) I wanted to display how that statement affects us and how it makes a person feel.
I have messed up in so many ways, and find myself doubting God's love so often because of all my mistakes. But the wonderful and beautiful thing is, no matter what I have done, I have always always always been loved by God. I will always always always be loved by God. I hope I can somehow keep this in my heart forever and ever. That I will take it out and study it every once and a while. That it becomes a permanent part of me.
So there's the story behind this piece of scribbling. Thank you, Tony, for your grand thought. :) I hope you don't mind that I stole it.
