June 14-I dropped my camera bag. My most expensive lens was in it. . . I quickly said a prayer. I wasn't brave enough to look at it so I waited to take it out until the next day. I picked it up and shook it. It rattled. I was like, oh, no. It has several different 'layers' of glass through out the lens and I was just sure one of those layers had shattered. I took off my lens cap, and discovered that only my UV filter had broken. whew. God is good to me. . .

Brittany, oh my goodness. That first picture? It was going to make me sick when I read what you said at first, cause I dropped my camera earlier this year. SICK feeling! but I had to use it so I had to see if it would work - and it didn't. I was so thankful to God that I only had my really small lens on there, but anyhow... I am SO glad that it was only the UV filter that broke. That picture...it spells out GRACE to me. lovely.
y'know though...ok, so I feel a bit like your UV filter. Broken, crumbling, missing pieces,...incomplete. It's ok. God will take the pieces and make something. Maybe even a masterpiece... :)
love you TONS!
Yeah, you probably dropped on Garrett's head the first time you tried the June 19th pose . . . on the 14th! Just kidding!
