Angels named Bud & Greg. . .

I think I've had enough excitement in one evening to last me a year or two. . . My boring life definitely became quite exciting. I discovered that you should never pray something unless you really really mean it. Last night I prayed for that our family would have an opportunity to witness to someone this week. And we did. . .BIG TIME. So here it goes, we (Sean, Skyler, Mom, & I) were on the way home from the shop. There is this one spot on the way back from there that doesn't have pavement. It goes from pavement, to gravel, to pavement again. That right there is not good at all. Mom told me to go really really slow so I did, my little black car bottomed out. But we thought everything was fine and dandy. That was a bad thought. We went quite a ways then all of a sudden my oil light comes on. So we pull off and check things out and discovered that there was a leak. A BIG leak in my oil pan. We weren't going to be going anywhere anytime soon. We were in a driveway so we pushed it beside the driveway, called Nate (my uncle), he came back and we went home. Before we left we left a note on the car saying that we'd come pick it up later. We had been planning on going back and talking to whoever's driveway it was, the house was quite a ways off the road you couldn't actually see it, but it said Private Property, No Trespassing. I was scared and no one else thought it was that good of an idea so we skipped that and decided to go with the note idea. Anyway, we're home, eat supper, and get this "lovely" phone call. The guy was hoppin mad and told us we had an hour to get our car out of his "yard". We weren't anywhere near his yard but anyway. So Mom quickly tells Nate what was going on (he had been on the other line) and he says he'll come ASAP. Hop in the van and away we go. We called Kenny and Linwood to see if they could come too. They both said they would. I was feeling a little better knowing that we had some men coming to protect us but I was still scared. We get there and lo and behold all my car doors are wide open. I'm not sure what happened in that instant but lets just say that I was not pleased in the least. Of all the nerve. We left a note on the car, he calls my mom and chews her out, then we get there and see he had broken into the car. I was ticked. We tried pushing it quick before he came down, but we weren't strong enough. I heard a tractor coming so I marched over and sat on my trunk, I decided, "Buddy, you try to move my car, you're gonna take me with it." ( scary, no??) The tractor pulled in the driveway, the guy starts talking to my mom. He wasn't the mad one he (Bud) was coming to rescue us from the mad guy and he had a guy named Greg with him. Greg was gonna talk to the mad guy (Charlie) and Bud was gonna talk to mom to see how to get this fixed. So another tractor comes, this time it came down the driveway and this time it a very angry, gun carrying, driveway owner on it. I looked up at the sky and said, "Jesus, I'm so scared." But their plan worked like a charm. Charlie was mad for a while (btw, Nate was there by now) but soon they got him calmed down. Charlie decided to help Bud move some rocks, and he decided that it would be ok if we have longer than an hour to get the car moved. So Nate hurries off to get the car mover thingy ( I believe these "thingy's" are called dolly's or something like that) and Kenny shows up and right soon after that Linwood came. They moved the car out of the field, to the side of the road just so that they guy didn't look and see that we were still in "his" field. (we discovered that is wasn't even his field, it actually belonged to Bud) By this time I had gotten somewhat over my anger and fear and was able to have people talk to me without the fear of bawling all over them. We stood there and talked to Greg and Ann (Greg's wife) for a long while and that really helped quite a bit. We found out that we have mutual acquaintances and it just helped to talk about it and kind of I don't know just to have someone there that understood the situation and cared very much about us. They were angels, all of them, Jesus with skin on. I am ever grateful. We and my dear car, are safely home. God was all over this situation. We got to talk to people about God and make new friends. I guess the moral of the tale could be, be careful what you pray for, but I like this one better. If you ask God to allow something to happen and it does, He WILL protect you, you are ever under His watchful eye's.

Otherwise my life has been quite normal. Alairia, housework, cleaning the shop, the Center, etc.
